Tolerance: The Western Achilles’ Heel

One of the pillars upon which Christianity is founded is love. But in modern philosophy, love has no room for intolerance. In other words, the Biblical Christianity that believes in absolutes of right and wrong has been neutered. In modern vernacular love is thought to mean tolerance. So, in the name of love, we neglect justice and tolerate misbehavior all the way from our homes to the White House.

Freedom of the press demands that we tolerate deception for as long as that deception is good enough to avoid careful scrutiny. We dare not libel, but as long as we avoid direct accusation, we are still permitted to deceive. Freedom of religion demands that we not infringe the rights of atheists and satanists to exercise a central tenant of their belief systems -- to erode and destroy faith in the God of the Bible. Hate crime laws forbid us from unveiling terror and the violent agenda of homosexuality, while requiring us to remain docile and pliable to their own hostile intentions. Having lost our Biblical compass, America lacks both the discernment and the willpower to act responsibly.

Communism has long known about and exploited this Achilles heal of American politics. But recently a new player has stepped onto the international political playing field -- Islam. The tactics communism and Islam have used to subdue the West are essentially the same, but they are also two extremes of the same deception. The deception is this -- that mankind is essentially remote from God.

In communism, mankind is remote because God does not exist. And how do we know God does not exist? Because evolution, being a theory that cannot be tested, cannot be disproved! Evolution has become the ipso facto communist god. And in the communist mindset, you are ruled by that which you cannot question and rule over that which you can.

In Islam, mankind is remote because God is unapproachable. He would never lower Himself to human form, communion, or understanding. Thereby, human consort with God is blasphemous and any pretense to know God except through the teachings of Muhammad is, at best, arrogant.

These twin views of an unapproachable God have become equally popular to those that want to avoid accountability as well as to those that want to enforce it. But both extremes move the onus of responsibility away from the individual and relegate it to a system that cannot be held accountable by anyone. In both systems, the conqueror is right and the conquered is wrong. In both systems the ideology is exonerated by the efforts of men. In both systems, a battle against the God of the Bible has been enjoined as a proving ground for the merits of mankind.

This battle against God has been engaged on educational, economic, religious, legislative, security, political, media, and demographic fronts. These are the battlefields on which freedoms are won and lost. These conflicts are waged in our own backyards. But the combat mostly takes place in the minds of men through the primary gateways for thought invasion -- television and public education.

It is here, with public education, that formerly repulsive points of view can be legitimized and embraced. Here, a nation can legally indoctrinate its people without fear of social or legal reprisal. The battle against quality education, education that requires observation and critical thinking, has long been the target of communism and socialism. But, more recently, Islam has also made its own 'legal' inroads into public education and into the impressionable minds of our youth.

Since Islam and Communism are both seen as 'cultures', their study in public venues has been legitimized while Judaism and Christianity, seen as 'religions,' are marginalized and excluded from the public education systems of democratic countries. Thus public education has become the new champion of atheism, extremism and popular deceit. But this is only the first front in an intensifying battle against the God of truth.

The second front of the battle against the God of the Bible is being fought with the economies of nations. Where people are poor, it is blamed on the rich. Where people are rich, it is blamed on greed. Thus, greed becomes the preferred scapegoat for the prevalence of the poverty seeded by sin and irresponsibility. In this view, the poor are poor only because the rich are rich. But this is only true where the wealthy gain influence by unscrupulous behavior. Elsewhere, the poor are poor by virtue of ignorance, irresponsibility, and neglect.

Greed is the devil's weapon of choice for the destruction of free societies. Whatever greed can destroy, armies don't have to. The objective is to subdue both rich and poor either by weight of excess or by force and intimidation and, thereby, to remove resources from the reach of truly benevolent use.

Communism subdues the rich and supposedly redistributes this wealth to the poor. This, however, is only a temporary solution to a permanent problem. The equal redistribution of wealth requires an elaborate and expensive government infrastructure, which eventually consumes the nation's wealth and once again impoverishes the nation. When this happens, people get greedy and the greedy get rich and the cycle repeats itself.

In Islam, the wealth of Islamic nations is seen as proof of righteousness while impoverished Islamic nations are viewed as victims of Western injustice. With this perspective, the wealth of non-Islamic nations is always seen as legitimate plunder. Whether by military conquest or by economic conquest, whereby the value of a nation's capital is degraded, the fall of non-Islamic nations is regarded as justification of Islamic beliefs and practices. Never mind the fact that this same rule is not applied within Islam, what matters most is that the belief system that builds Islamic self-esteem is exonerated.

If you knew that someone wanted to kill you, would you buy bullets for his gun? Yet this is precisely what we are doing by selling our debt to hostile economies and by tolerating our dependence on foreign oil. It's as if we're paying our antagonists to eliminate their competition without realizing that their competition is us. I'm not saying we should be selfish. I'm just saying we should stop being so foolish.

A third front is that of religious freedom. In the West, we tolerate other religions whereas most of the non-Western world doesn't. We are willing to allow foreigners to build mosques in our neighborhoods while these same foreigners refuse to allow us to build churches in theirs. What we don't realize, and what they do, is that worship centers become cultural centers and cultural centers attract people from that culture. Those that faithfully worship at a particular building usually want to live nearby. This necessitates the purchase of adjoining property and changes the local demographics of the neighborhood or region.

In governments that promote the ideal of 'no taxation without representation' this eventually opens the door to political office. To be 'fair' we invite foreigners to govern foreigners by their own laws instead of by ours. To visualize how extraordinary this is, imagine the same thing happening in an Islamic fundamentalist country. Can you imagine Saudi Arabia inviting Westerners to govern other expats within their midst by their own liberal Western laws instead of by Shari'a? If you can't imagine it, that's okay because neither can I. I can't imagine it because it generally doesn't happen. Yet we westerners, being 'fair-minded', not only tolerate it but also actually promote it.

A fourth front is the legislative front, whereby, as mentioned above, fair representation is seen as an inalienable right of every inhabitant of the land. By this measure, every immigrant, legal or illegal, is entitled to the same legal representation within our justice system. Where the demographics have so changed that the minority has become the regional majority, regardless of any hostile intent they may harbor, we feel they are 'entitled' to legislate their own culture. Where this privilege is granted, and Shari'a law (or State atheism) is adopted, peace may prevail. But where it is denied, social unrest is usually encouraged. Under this relentless intimidation, truth and justice eventually fall victim not to the hostility of our oppressors but to our own pacifism.

A fifth front is in the arena of national or regional security. Under this assault, as mentioned above, indigenous people are convinced, through relentless intimidation, to believe that the only answer to the security they seek is to yield to the dominant force. We seek to appease wrath with compromise rather than to oppose it. But, being too lazy to do what is right in the face of oppression, this is an apathetic response.

"If you can't beat 'em, join 'em," we say and become sidekicks of the bully that once threatened to harm us. When the assimilation of communism or Islam has become a 'security imperative' we are likely to have already lost our initiative to resist this moral invasion. Though we are not slaves in name, in every other right we have indentured ourselves for life to a system bent on our eventual destruction and to the demise of Biblical Christianity.

A sixth front in 'the war on faith in the God of the Bible' is played out in the political arena of a nation. When atheism and Islam have become respectable alternatives to biblical faith, the mechanisms for the abolition of Christianity become endemic. One of those mechanisms is political office. Where the absolutes of justice fail, laws are molded to pacify the status quo. Whether these laws are just or unjust, if penned by elected officials, these laws are recognized and enforced by the government as if they were divine. But how did those laws come into being in the first place?

Often, though they did not represent the general interests of the majority, certain unpopular amendments are appended to garner a majority for more necessary legislation. In this way, the minority can become the cattle prod that moves a nation toward political suicide. But the prod wouldn't be there at all if we hadn't elected it. And why did we vote them in? Because they were popular and eloquent and we were too busy to verify the underlying beliefs upon which they would craft future legislation!

This is where the seventh front, the media, comes into play. Mentioned first beside education in order of importance, media moguls have their darlings to promote their special interests. Saturated with benign forms of atheism and Islam, television programming accustoms us to deadly poison. Like arsenic, propaganda slowly builds up in our system until, one day, it becomes fatal. In that day, we see no inconsistency in electing those officials that poison us. After all, they're on television. But television moves information through our minds faster than we can verify it.

Since everyone has a television, everyone assumes that someone else is doing something about what nobody else is doing anything about. And when we see it, week after week, we assume that our ever-vigilant government must think that it's okay. But it's not! And it's not our government's responsibility to do something about everything that's not okay. Democracy is 'government by the people and for the people.' It is our responsibility to reveal and resist deception and it its our responsibility to reveal and promote truth. If we don't do it, it won't get done. Tolerance of media bias is perhaps the most prevalent and damaging infirmity of modern mankind.

Finally, the eighth front in the war on faith in a biblical God is in the area of demographic conquest. One of the best ways to change the demographics of a nation is to promote democratic self-gratification. Under such self-imposed pressure, there is no need to procreate. For instance, homosexuality is a legitimate expression of democratic societies that want to live for only one generation. This selfish side of demographic conquest reduces the indigenous population and is eventually fatal to a nation.

The other side of demographic conquest is unrestrained proliferation. On this end of the spectrum, men can have multiple wives and the more children one has (and the less others have) the more influence one gains in society. Such polygamous conquerors tolerate the selfishness of a dying nation knowing that, at some point, they will outpace the majority that had formerly subdued them. They will become the nursemaids, the executioners, and the gravediggers of the nation that lacks the foresight to promote life.

Too often these immigrants did not come to strengthen our nation, but to subdue it or to strengthen theirs. And whereas every man should have the opportunity for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, so, too, all nations ought to offer this option to their citizens and those nations who do ought not be penalized by those who don't

This is the Western Achilles heal -- that we tolerate deception and injustice for the sake of comfort and a temporary, shortsighted peace. We tolerate the atheistic and theological conquest of our educational system and wonder why our children lack a moral compass. We tolerate dependence on foreign oil and the inflation of our currency and sell our debt to hostile economies and wonder why we are so poor. We tolerate the proliferation of foreign religions while degrading the faith that made our nation great. We tolerate intimidation by belligerent societies and culturally exclusive laws and wonder why we are victims of prejudice in our own country. We tolerate ignorance of political agendas and wonder why the officials we've elected are destroying the country we love. We tolerate media indoctrination and wonder why we lack discernment. And finally, we tolerate demographic conquest and employ as gravediggers the assassins that rob our society of a moral and benevolent posterity.

Tolerance is both a virtue and the Achilles heal that is now destroying Western civilization. But the most amazing thing is that those that scream the loudest against intolerance are usually the least tolerant of Christianity.

I'm not promoting prejudice. I truly do believe that all men are created equal. My decades of work in various cultures throughout the world should bear this out. But what I am promoting is wisdom regarding cultural tolerance. We ought not allow ourselves to be pressured or seduced into swallowing propagandist poison, committing social suicide, or into inviting economic harm. Like weeds, evil needs no incentive beyond tolerance to thrive.
